The oil suction tube is in the same place on both the 3.0 diesel and 5.0 petrol, but on the diesel it's on the other side of the engine to the oil cap whereas on the petrol it's smack in the middle of the oil fill hole! Pretty weird design if you ask me.

All Jaguar serviced from day one, lovely, but the last service (2 month ago) notes a possible turbo pipe leak, diagnosed by a whistling kind of noise.
